Syneria is proud to participate to the European PEARL-PV project “ Performance and Reliability of Photovoltaic Systems: Evaluations of Large-Scale Monitoring Data”. The project aims at improving the performance and reliability of photovoltaic systems in Europe and thus to reduce the perceived risk in project financing. This initiative is part of the COST actions “European Cooperation in Science and Technology”, which is one of the European financial instruments contributing to the build-up of the European Research Area (ERA).
Syneria will therefore share its expertise and knowledge while benefiting of a large amount of data and a network of researchers from various countries. Data regarding defects and failures from plants located all over Europe will be analysed in order to determine the influence of the system equipment and design, maintenance practices as well as the weather on the long-term performance of PV installations.
